Announcement from VWHDC – 17th September 2014:

Drayton Neighbourhood Plan Publication – After several months of engagement with their local community, Drayton Parish Council has developed and submitted the Drayton Neighbourhood Plan. To view details of the documents that have been submitted please visit:

  2. Referendum Copy – a direct link.

Hard copies of the document will also be available at the district council offices and Drayton Parish Council offices.

The Drayton Neighbourhood Plan is underpinned by Sustainability and looks at four key areas for policy development. These are the:

  1. Look and Feel
  2. Work and Play
  3. Transport
  4. Housing

The publication period ran from Wednesday 17 September until Wednesday 29 October 2014, closing at 5.00pm precisely. This was a six week publication period. All comments received as part of this publication have now been submitted to the examiner as part of the examination process. Please remember that the examiner is only testing whether the plan meets the basic conditions and other relevant legal requirements set out in the Localism Act. They are not testing the soundness of the plan or looking at other material considerations. Please be aware that all comments that we receive will be publicly available and will be included on our website.

If you would like to be notified about our decision whether to ‘make’ the neighbourhood plan following examination, please also include this in your comments.
