The Arts Society Abingdon is holding its monthly lecture on Wednesday 21st February 2018, 10.30am and 2.00pm, at Trinity Church, Conduit Road, Abingdon, OX14 1DB.
Thomas Heatherwick: “The Leonardo da Vinci of our times” by The Arts Society Lecturer Anthea Streeter. Thomas Heatherwick, Appointed Royal Designer for Industry, 2004, Designer of the year in 2010. Spotted by Sir Terence Conran and his team designed the Olympic Cauldron and the new London Bus …..Come along and find out more! Non-Members welcome, £6.00 including coffee/tea. Lectures are one hour long, but leave extra time for announcements etc.
