Blue Cedar applied to build 28 houses at Halls Close Drayton and their application was rejected by the VWHDC Planning Committee in January 2016 since this was not an approved site under the Drayton Neighbourhood Plan.
They have now applied again, with an identical application. If fewer Drayton people object this time the VWHDC Councillors may well be persuaded by the Vale planners into believing that there is now less opposition to the development.
See Planning Application – http://www.whitehorsedc.gov.uk/java/support/Main.jsp?MODULE=ApplicationDetails&REF=P16/V0675/O
Please lodge your OBJECTION to this proposed development – if it goes through the Drayton Neighbourhood Plan will be overturned and more large developments in Drayton are likely to follow.
The VWHDC Planning Officers have already said in correspondence to the Planning Inspectorate:
“….the application generated less than 20 objections, which does not, the council contends, represent “substantial local interest”
It’s therefore important this time that everyone who is opposed to Blue Cedar’s application does register their objection on the website personally so that Councillors know the strength of local opposition to the proposed development and the strength of support for the Drayton NDP
